Thanksgiving 2019 was a blast! Here are some of the highlights:

1. Ben baked his first cake
2. Your Mom made chocolate fudge & artichoke dip
3. Emma made chocolate chip cookies
4. Grammy was busy. She cooked a turkey + a turkey breast (so we’d have enough leftovers for follow-on turkey sandwiches) plus her famous mashed potatoes, lots of gravy and fantastic sausage stuffing. The highlight for me was her incredible apple pie which I ate for several more days until not a single crumb remained.
5. Jack drew a new picture and wrote a Thanksgiving thank you note. He also got ‘whipped;” so did Molly!
6. Your Dad & Ben put all my deck furniture away (my shoulder is still not up for that kind of work!) – thanks Guys!
7. You ran around outside like wild banshees, ate lots of candy, played the game of Life and did your usual crazy stuff upstairs.
8. We went around the table and said what we were thankful for (so much); your Dad debuted his 2019 Top 10 list (nicely done)
9. Ben got a man bun and Emma grew a supersized belly with a tiny Ken doll attached. Weird yes, but funny.
10. We all filled our bellies with delightful food. We’re so lucky to have each other, a roof over our heads, food to eat and financial security.  So many people don’t have any of this! We must always remember this and give back to make the world a better place.
